What is Baptism?

The Bible tells us that every time someone enters into new life with Jesus Christ, all of Heaven rejoices! Baptism is an outward declaration and celebration of inward transformation as one puts their faith in Jesus. As the believer is immersed beneath the waters, they declare that the old self, enslaved to unbelief and sin, has died. And as they are raised up out of the waters, they proclaim that the new self, freed from sin and death, has been raised to life through the resurrection of Jesus.
