What's in the Name?

The word “doxa” comes from the Greek language (the language that part of the Bible was originally written in),  and most commonly gets translated into the English word, “glory." 

As a church, we want the glory of God to be our greatest passion, because the glory of God is God’s greatest passion! Everything that God does, he does for the sake of his own glory; so that he can be known and praised. While God’s passion for his own glory might sound like a selfish act at first glance, the reality is that His glory is also our greatest good.
