What Are Core Classes?

Holistic discipleship is a crucial part of any church or ministry. In order to multiply the Gospel across cities and nations, disciples must not only be made, but equipped and empowered as well. At Doxa, we do this through the means of Core Classes.

Core Classes focus on one of the three key areas of the Christian life: head, heart, and hands. Each of these classes are designed to further and deepen a person’s walk with God with the goal of forming holistic disciples that think rightly about God, pursue deeper intimacy with him, and live on mission for the glory of God and the good of others.

Core Classes

Christian Theology

In this class, students learn the basics of the Christian faith by exploring key doctrines such as the nature of God, the person and work of Jesus Christ, the role of the Holy Spirit, salvation, and the authority of Scripture.

Christian Formation

This class is designed to help you deepen your relationship with God and grow in spiritual maturity. Students will explore key spiritual habits like prayer, Bible study, fasting, and Sabbath rest, learning how each practice helps to deepen your relationship with God.

Christian Mission

This class is designed to equip you with the tools and practices to effectively share your faith with others in order to multiply the Kingdom of God. In this course, students will learn how to leverage relationships and speak the Gospel into everyday conversations.
